In reference to your workprinter, is there a way to transfer the film to DV as opposed to video? I don't know much about the thing, so forgive me for a stupid question.

DV and video are one and the same. If you mean can it be transferrd to a video tape instead of a computer using the WorkPrinter, the answer is no. The WorkPrinter is designed to work hand in hand with a NLE system.

    Thanks Roger.

Reading about your workprinter, I was assuming it transferred film to video (VHS). Now I understand that you meant DV all along.

    Thanks again.

VHS is video. DV is video. It's all video. The WorkPrinter does NOT transfer to DV. It transfers to the hard drive of a computer that has an NLE program supporting "stop motion capture". Once it is on the drive, you can transfer it to any format of video you wish; DV, VHS, Hi-8, etc. You are making a distinction where there is none. VHS and DV are both video.

Ok, my apologies again. Thanks for clearing it up. Sounds like your workprinter is exactly what I need.
